TKG-306

Released in 2007, TKG-306 takes around 86-90 days to mature. The seed is white in colour and weighs around 2.8 g. This variety of sesame is resistant to Phytophthora blight and moderately resistant to Macrophomina, Cercospora, powdery mildew, and Alternaria leaf spot.

SWB-32-10-1 (Savitri)

In the SWB-32-10-1 variety of sesame, the oil content present is around 48-52%. The average yield of this variety is around 1200-1500 kg/ha in the summer. This variety has been recommended in West Bengal. The time is taken for this variety to mature in around 84-88 days.

Jawahar Til –12 (PKDS-12)

The oil content present in this variety of sesame is around 48-52%. The average yield of the Jawahar Til-12 variety is around 700-750 kg/ha. This variety has been recommended to be grown in Summer in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This variety is said to be moderately resistant to Macrophomina stem/root rot.

Gujarat Til-3

The average oil content in the Gujarat Til-3 is around 48-52%. The average yield of this variety of sesame is about 750-800 kg/ha. This crop has been recommended to be grown in the Kharif season in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. The time taken for these seeds to mature in around 84-88 days.

RT-346

The oil content present in the RT-346 is around 49-51%. The average yield of this variety of sesame is 750-850 kg/ha. This variety is recommended to be grown in the Kharif season in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Panjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Utter Pradesh, Maharashtra so on and so forth. The variety requires 82-86 days to reach maturation.

JLT-408

The oil content in JLT-408 is around 51-53%. The average yield of this variety of sesame is 700-800 kg/ha. This variety of sesame is recommended to be grown in an assured rainfall zone of Khandesh and adjoining areas of Vidharba, Marathwada region rainfall zone of Khandesh and adjoining areas. This variety of sesame requires 80-85 days to mature.

TKG-308

The oil content present in TKG-308 is about 48-50%. The average yield of 700-750 kg/ha. This variety is moderately resistant to Macrophomia, Cercospora, Bacteria leaf spot, Leaf curl, Tolerant to capsule borer.

Shubra

Shubhra variety of sesame has an oil content of around 48-52%. The average yield of this variety is around 800-900 kg/ha. The seeds are Golden yellow in colour. It has been recommended to grown in Orisha in the Kharif and summer season.

RT-351

RT-351 has oil content around 48-50%. The average yield of this variety is 700-800 kg/ha. This variety is resistant to Macrophomia, Leaf curl, Phillody, Moderately resistant to Cercospora & capsule bore. RT-351 has been recommended to be grown in Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, J&K and such other states.
